About Our Logo
In 2026, the Henderson Police Department created a logo for the first time in our agency history.
Our logo is comprised of a rendering of the Henderson Community Center, located in the city of Henderson. Built in 1876, the Community Center began as the Sibley County Courthouse and remained as such until 1916, when the county seat moved to Gaylord. The building is still in use by our city offices, including the Henderson Police Department, as well as other organizations. The design includes a blue line that represents both the traditions and values of law enforcement as well as the Minnesota River, in recognition of the town’s identity as a “river valley community”.
This logo was in part inspired by the logo and patch of the San Antonio Police Department, which features the Alamo.
Funding for the logo rebrand was made possible by a 2025 community grant from the Minnesota Chiefs of Police Association.
Patch Availability
The Henderson Police Department has used three styles of patches in recent history. We receive many patch requests in person, by post or email.
At this time, the Henderson Police Department does not engage in mail-in patch trades and cannot accommodate these requests.
We are preparing a costing sheet for how to request a patch by mail, so that these costs are not passed on to our community, and which patches will be made available.
