Hilltop Recreation Area

The Hilltop Recreational Area has been Henderson Recreation's flagship project since purchase of the land by the City of Henderson. The nonprofit committee has grand plans for the future park to not only utilize new recreational facilities, but existing assets like the former elementary school playground, nearby baseball fields and campground. The park is also positioned to become a rest stop for bikers traveling on the Scenic Byway Regional Trail System.

The splashpad is set to open in the summer of 2026!
